    Explorathon 2018: Strathclyde Applied Psychology Lab, Stirling Face Lab & Professor Sarah Steven

    Our lab ran another successful public engagement workshop on face recognition for Explorathon 2018 (European Researchers Night), in collaboration with the Stirling Face Lab, and Professor Sarah Stevenage from the University of Southampton. Based at the Glasgow Transport Museum, our workshop alone welcomed more that 100 members of the public who were eager to learn about face perception and super-recognisers!

    Strathclyde Psychology Super-Recognisers

    David has developed a new 4th Year Honours Course on The Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience of Face Recognition. As part of the introductory lecture, students were provided with the opportunity to take the 'super-recogniser test', and here we have two students - Lydia Lochead and Ellen Stewart - who reached the cut off score for super-recognition.

    David hosts University of Strathclyde Virtual Reality Conference

    The Strathclyde Virtual Reality Conference took place in September of this year. The purpose of the event was to bring together researchers from across the university who are current using/or who are interested in using these new and emerging technologies for research purposes.
